mon oeil sur terre/documentary, visual and fine arts/co-creation and cultural rights
stories made from within the neighborhoods
mOst develops participatory visual arts, documentary and place-based artistic projects with residents of working-class neighborhoods and urban peripheries, grounded in cultural rights. Through photography, film, sound, writing and participatory mapping, residents take part in producing, editing and publicly sharing their own narratives, from the Malassis housing estate to the hillsides of Comuna 8.

one method
Six formats shape our projects. They are combined according to what each neighborhood needs: a documentary can grow out of a Point de vue, a residency can feed a living archive.
point de vue
The most complete investigative workshop: looking at your own neighborhood, producing original material, building a collective story.
format8 projectsvideo documentary
A shared film, co-authored by the participants, from choosing the subject to the final edit.
format8 projectscrossing perspectives
Two working-class neighborhoods in conversation through images, sounds and stories.
format12 projectscommunity-based artistic residency
An artist’s research in dialogue with the knowledge and practices of residents.
format4 projectsquartier du turfu
Imagining the future of a place together: residents’ needs, fears, wishes and proposals.
format12 projectsliving archives
Documenting memories and changes from the inside, so that they last.
creating together, renewing forms
In community-based artistic residencies, the encounter does not come after the work. It can shift its gestures, its materials and its forms. We work in that space with artists and residents.
